This year instead of birthday parties (we alternate years) we'll be taking each child out on a date with Mom and Dad. However, since it was Macy's FIRST birthday, we took all of her brothers and sisters along too. We had dinner at Pizza Hut...
...then went home for cake!

Macy was mesmerized with the candle flame.
However, she didn't want to eat any of it (and all I offered her was some frosting). I'm no longer sure that she's my daughter, as I could live off buttercream.
She opened her cards from us and her grandparents...
...as well as her birthday present.
She got these darling Beanie-Boos.
