"I will spend eternity knowing my children as adults. But tonight, right here, right now, and for the next precious years, I have the rare privilege of knowing them as a child. What a gift to experience the children in our lives as children! For a brief moment during the journey of mortality, we get to watch them laugh, learn, experience, grow."
-Hilary Weeks

About Me

My photo
Jen Reil
This is a story. I'm an American girl in love with a Canadian boy. With our seven kiddos- wonder twins, three musketeers, and two little princesses (our littlest princess also has Down syndrome)- we're living our dream. We've lived in the USA, Canada, England, Taiwan, India, and now call France home. I hope we can visit every continent, and swim in every ocean. If you read this story, please say hi. I'd love to read your story too.

"In all of living, have much fun and laughter. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured." ~Gordon B. Hinckley

"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."
--Gordon B. Hinckley
"There is something of divinity within each of you. You have such tremendous potential with that quality as a part of your inherited nature. Every one of you was endowed by your Father in Heaven with a tremendous capacity to do good in the world."
--Gordon B. Hinckley
“The ultimate purpose of all we teach is to unite parents and children in faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they are happy at home, sealed in an eternal marriage, linked to their generations, and assured of exaltation in the presence of our Heavenly Father.”
--Boyd K. Packer
