Go take a hike!

Kevin & Delyna's family arrived in Waterton, so we all met up to do some hiking.

When the views are this nice from the parking lot, you know you're in for a good day!

Getting ready to go.

Hiram quickly grabbed Madison for his buddy.

Cute cousins!

Plus more in the backpack...

and snug sack.

We thought we were heading to Blakiston Falls, but we were heading up to Goat Lake.

After an about-face, we found the right trail to Blakiston Falls.

Waterton is such a gorgeous place!  I understand why Leonard's parents brought their boys here each year.

Part of the group hiked up Redrock Canyon to ride the natural water slides.  This is one of my favorite things to do.  However, with a nursing baby I had to pass this year.  We will be back though!

Waterton Lake

At the end of the day we went to Waterton Lake to visit, skip some stones, and splash in the icy water.

The river rocks were so colorful and pretty.

Such a cute family!
(Suzi offered to take our family pic, but we didn't quite feel up to it.  Of course, now I regret it!)

Look at the fun party boat in the background.

Caroline was so busy making Suzi's hair so pretty with fresh daisies.

We went back again and the little ones were still fearless.  I wish we could always have these fun days with our cousins!

Deer, Horse, & Surrey

Waterton village has lots of deer for residents.  They just walk down the streets like the rest of us, take a rest on the grass, and some even walked up on a porch to smell the yummy barbeque.  This little baby kissing its momma was the cutest though!

Our little cowboy Hiram was so excited to ride this pretty pony.

We rented some surrey bikes...

with Steve & Suzi's fam to explore more of the village.

We rode down to Waterton Lake.

 And up to Cameron Falls.

Well, we got out and pushed the surreys up the hill to Cameron Falls, ha!

Kaleb wanted to drive the surrey so bad, so I let him have a turn.  His depth perception isn't that strong, so I tried to focus on my cute little front-seat drivers.  After a few near misses with parked cars, etc. I took back over the driving.  (Leonard will have to teach our kids how to drive a car!)

Cameron Lake

We forgot our worries from the Bear Mountain Motel at the beautiful and tranquil Cameron Lake.

Ali's life-jacket was bigger than her!

My handsome husband is also strong and rowed us all around the lake.

Kaleb, Noé, and Teague at the bow.

Hiram, me, Ali, and Gavin in the stern.

We had so much fun with Steve & Suzi's fam.

Hi Tommy Bahama!

The water was just like a mirror.

Water, forest, mountains, & sunny sky.

When we were leaving Leonard ran in to his friend Leanne.  They hadn't seen each other since high school graduation 21 years ago, but they went to school together from kindergarten until graduation!
