My sister, Marlana married her sweetheart Andrew!

We arrived early for some family pictures and I was also able to capture some of the wedding details, like this cute welcome table.

The wedding took place in a beautiful park setting.

The wedding planner paid great attention to detail and there were lots of little pretty things everywhere you looked.

The venue also had little hidden gems, like this waterfall.

We flew from Hawaii to Idaho to spend the summer with our Pittl family.  We had 4 generations under this roof and at one point had 17 people living in this home!

 

My dad built this house and we moved in before my 4th birthday.

 

My dad and step-mom were married a year and a half after Len and I were married!

 

Grandpa and Grandma added 6 new chickens to the family as well!  I always meant to take a picture of their Chicken Security sign, but never did.  This one is similar and it cracks me up, ha ha!

Our last day in Hawaii arrived.  We got a late check-out, but our plane didn't leave until 11:00 that night, so we still had a full day to fill.  After a delicious brunch and packing up our suitcases we headed over to the movie theater to watch Cars 3.  We had checked to make sure the Iolani Palace was open for tours this day, however nowhere could we find the hours it was open.  Unfortunately, by the time we arrived in the mid-afternoon it was already closed for the day.  Man, I wish we had gone there first!  We were still able to tour the grounds and soak in its beauty.

Across the street is the State Supreme Court, or the Hawaii 5-O headquarters, ha!

King Kamehameha I was the first king to unite the 8 Hawaiian islands into one kingdom.  As a side note, my home town- Las Vegas is nicknamed the 9th Hawaiian island, as many Hawaiians go there for vacation and many others move there when they go to the mainland.

We were in Hawaii 12 days and saw at least a dozen rainbows.  It's hard to see in the picture, but behind the palm trees is one.

Oh, Hawaii we hope we meet again!

Go Pro Camera

 Here it is New Year's Day and 3 weeks before Macy's scheduled c-section.  I'm going to try and do one blog post a day to get more caught up before our little angel is here.  These pictures are from our last full day in Hawaii.  We got to use a Go Pro camera (waterproof) from our hotel for free.  We had fun hopping in and out of the ocean, pool, and slides and taking lots of pics along the way.  We also had ginormous Hawaiian Shave Ice, yum!

We got several shave ice for all of us to share- Rainbow flavors.

 

No, this wasn't just snow flavored, but coconut, yum!  Although my favorite was the peach I had earlier in our trip.

They were actually TOO big!

 

But we finished them off.

 

Our littlest girl just crashed out as soon as we were out of the water.  She plays and swims hard!
