Spring Colors

It's always hard for us to leave "home" because we usually don't know when the next chance will come for us to head west. Well this time was a teensy bit easier to leave because we will be back in May. Kris & Devin are getting hitched, so we will be there for their special day! I love their colors too- Tiffany blue, citrus orange, and hot pink. Kaleb and Noe are going to be their ring bearer and flower girl, so Kaleb will have a blue tie to wear with his black suit while Noe will have a blue sash and bow to wear with her white dress. My 3 little guys will also have ties in the 3 colors. Can't wait!

Headin' Home

We had a wonderful time visiting with our Lee, Pittl, Reil, and Barlow families and with our friends in Las Vegas. But all good things must come to an end (why?), so it was time for us to head back home to Ottawa. Lots of love until we meet again!

Two Cute

Jamie and Erica are some of THE cutest twins I know. I love that Jamie is a blue-eyed blondie like her daddy, while Erica is a brown-eyed brunette like her mommy (really she's a clone of her mommy, tee hee).


On our last night in town we got to celebrate their 8th birthday with them!

All the Stewart, Conger, and Reil kids danced along with Xbox Kinect. Love it!

Lucky Boy

Gavin got to celebrate his birthday again in Las Vegas! When he first met Auntie Devin he looked at her, then he looked at Auntie Mandy and he said, "There's 2 of you!" ha ha ha ha ha!

Gavin was spoiled with lots of fun gifts. (I love this photo because he is checking out all his new fun things instead of looking at the camera!). Happy Birthday Gavin, we are so lucky to have you!

Hemenway Park

We went out to Lake Mead to visit Hemenway Park. We were hoping to see some bighorn sheep, but they decided to stay up in the mountains. We did see hundreds of bunnies though.


And Grampa brought the bubble machine,

so the kids had a blast dancing and trying to catch them.

Gramma snuggled little Hiram to keep him warm.

They had fun play structures as well, so the kids didn't want to leave. Gramma & Grampa finally convined them though with McDonald's for dinner and the chance to play in its playplace.

Good Eats

Leslie, Becky, and I went to our "Twins Mom" dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. Barbeque Chicken Pizza is good!

Mom took Mandy, Noe, and I out to lunch at Chevy's. I love enchiladas and chili rellenos!

Grampa taught the kids how to make bagels. They loved forming the dough into O's and "painting" them with eggs. I loved them toasted with butter, ha ha!

Gramma made THE. BEST. EVER. POPCORN!! It's Cinnamon bun popcorn from OurBestBites.com- yum!

Leonard's and my favorite thing is fish tacos. We got to go on 2 dates to have them too- Rubio's and Baja Fresh, I love you forever!

I also had my favorite nectar of the gods- Hot Dog on a Stick lemonade (and cherry lemonade, and limeade). I could drink it by the gallon.

Len got to go out with his 3 brothers to In-N-Out Burger and to a UNLV basketball game- Go Rebels!

Mom took the kids and me to see "Chipwrecked" and we brought some contraband- her yummy popcorn with us.

Mom also took us to my new favorite store- Rodworks. How is a home decor store food related? Because the owner had a cookie jar full of homemade cookies she shared with us. How sweet.

Do you understand why I gained 7 pounds while I was gone? Oh, and I didn't even mention all of the yummy meals, or the peanut butter balls, or the pumpkin roll, or the peanut butter balls, or the pioneer pinwheels, or the peanut butter balls either!

M & M's World

Gramma took us all to M & M's World to check out the home of the colorful candies.



There was a huge wall of m&m's in 21 colors!

There was another wall where you could personalize your m&m's with your own message.
