Practicing for our Road Trip

We had a late night and all 3 little boys fell asleep in the car.

They all look so cute with their mouths hanging open.
We'll be spending a lot of time in our van this summer and I hope everyone will be comfortable.  We're trying to not do too long of days in the car though, and we've found something fun to do in each place we're stopping overnight.  At first, I was worried to take such an ambitious trip, but now I'm just excited.  We'll take turns giving pep talks each morning and with the right attitude, I think we're all going to have a wonderful time!

Mr. & Mrs. Ayotte

This handsome boy was my date to a wedding again.

This time for Jenn & Christian's special day.

Yep, he was the ring bearer too.

All the VIP's- wedding party and both families.

The beautiful wedding party.

The lovely ladies.

The macho men.

The bride's fam.

The groom's fam.

Teague has always been close to Jenn and her gorgeous sister Anngela.

Let's eat cake and dance!
After the ceremony and dinner, Leonard brought the rest of our family up for the reception.  My darling kiddos danced the night away.  I wish I had their confidence and could dance in public again!

Jenn and Christian, I hope you have a beautiful life together!

Let's Jazzercise!

Can you tell my mom grew up in the 80's?  Bodysuit, headband, and legwarmers!

Yeah, I rock this look even in my sleep!

We *heart* snuggling!

The 3 weeks since we've had little Ali, we've had a new sibling rivalry- who gets to snuggle with her?  We all love to!

From the smile on her face, it looks like she enjoys snuggling us too!

It's a Hard Knock Life for Little Girls

Our stake had its 3rd annual "Evening on Broadway" show and Noé was thrilled to be a part of the production this year.

Noé got to be in 2 different numbers from Annie (Hard Knock Life and Little Girls) with friends from our ward...

...and stake...

...plus she made some new friends...

...and just found out that she is 3rd cousins with one of the orphans too!

Back row: Noé, Emmeline, Grace, Charlotte, Emma, Kestrel, Geneva, Hannah
Front row: Mackenzie, Natalie, Nicole (3rd cousin), Sara, Melanie, Lucy, and Alesa.

This little cutie kept bombing all my photos, so I got one of just her and Noé.  She was in The Lonely Goatherd from The Sound of Music.

Getting ready backstage.

On stage!  Time to dust that floor.

And belt out the tune.
Noé's on the far right and Miss Anne (my choir teacher back in the day) would love how open her mouth is!  Now I'm reminiscing about when I was in Hard Knock Life during my Spectrum years.

Out went Annie and 10 of the orphans, and in came Miss Hannigan while 4 orphans got to stay and tease her.

The whole show was amazing performing 13 different numbers from 11 musicals including- Cinderella, Nelligan, The Music Man, Anastasia, Newsies, Man of La Mancha, 101 Dalmatians, Ragtime, Les Miserables, and as mentioned before The Sound of Music, and of course Annie!  The singers, dancers, actors, musicians (yes, there was a full orchestra), MC's, the directors, and all those who worked behind the scenes just did a wonderful job!  To quote Mark Mitchell (the big daddio of the event), "Mormons Rock!"

First Photo Shoot

When Ali was 10 days old we took her in to have her passport pictures taken.  Since they didn't have a photographer at the hospital we decided to have her newborn pictures taken too.  One of my friend's swung by our house while we were out and my older kids told her that we were at Ali's first photo shoot, ha!

"Thanks Auntie Mandy and Auntie Erika for my darling outfit and bow!"

"I am pondering very deep thoughts while I sleep."

"Being beautiful is so exhausting!"
"Thank you Annick for my booties and bow, and thank you Gramma for my onesie."

"Mom, these ruffles and hair bows are as big as me!"

"Are we done yet?"

Family Fun Day

It's that time of year again- school carnival!  We always enjoy the school carnival and have a little glimpse that summer vacation will finally come soon.  We ate pizza and cotton candy and tried our luck at the cake walk (which we didn't win), then we went to play on all the bouncy castles and inflatable slides.

Well, Len, Ali, and I stood in line while the other kids played tag with each other.

We each had a partner, to make sure everyone was safe.

See the storm clouds moving in?  Shortly after, it started pouring.  Ali and I made our way to the gym...

...while the others stayed outside.  They were next to go in the bouncy castle.  They jumped for joy and got showered on.

Ali and I stayed nice and dry.  Ali slept through this party too, but was quite the little celebrity.

I have taken hundreds of pictures of this little face.  Awake or asleep, I just love it!

After the rain came we still had about 50 tickets to use up, but we couldn't use the inflatables anymore.  We tried the cake walk again and won this time, then put the rest of our tickets in for a basket raffle (which we didn't win), but we had a great time still!
