Kaleb's Belated

We had fun celebrating Kaleb's 21st belated birthday!

We ate his yummy cake!  And I took him shopping for a new wardrobe.

Welcome Home Kaleb!

After Stake Conference, we hit the road for home.  We stopped at an ON Route for lunch and I had to get a pic of Elder Reil with Mr. Moose.

We went straight to the church, where President Nemeth was waiting to release Elder Reil from his mission.

After 2 years, Kaleb made it back home.

We're so proud of you Kaleb!  We're so glad you're home now!!

Toronto Stake Conference

Toronto's Stake Conference was the next day.  It was a lovely meeting and we got to meet many of the missionaries that served with Kaleb.  Here are the 5 Portuguese-speaking elders (Kaleb served with a total of 10).

We also got to meet the Mission President and his wife.

We ran into Leonard's cousin, Andrew's son, MacEwan. Small world!

Elder Neil L Andersen spoke at the conference and afterwards shook hands with anyone who wanted to shake hands with him.  Leonard got to meet Elder Andersen earlier, when he served his mission in France.  It was really nice shaking hands with an apostle, and he told Macy that her family was so lucky to have her.  Yes, we are!

Roundhouse Park

While we were downtown, we also strolled through Roundhouse Park to see all of the old trains.

I loved all of the old train buildings as well.

There's such a juxtaposition with the towering glass high rises behind.

Ripley's Aquarium

We had an awesome time exploring the aquarium!

I'd love to be a mermaid and swim with the fishes!

I just don't ever want to be shark food!

The CN Tower

After our trip to the temple, we got the rest of the kiddos and headed downtown.  We did not go inside the CN tower, but since we did go to the aquarium right next to it, we had to take some pictures with it too.
