Our dear friends, the Cannons came to town after picking up their son, Spencer from finishing his mission for our church in Montreal. They arrived in Ottawa just in time to watch the semi-finals of the World Cup. Yes, we were rooting for France (Dorothée's motherland and where Dorothée, Lincoln, and Leonard all met back when they were serving their missions). It was so awesome that France won this game and then the whole World Cup!!
The next day Len went with them to see the sights of downtown (while I held down the fort at home with our little munchkins). We enjoyed dinner together at Nando's, we showed them the model of our new home, and they also visited lots of Spencer's friends from his mission.
The trip went too quickly, but it was so great to spend time with them! We love you Cannons!
