Today we are fasting for relief from the Covid-19 pandemic. We are fasting that this pandemic may be controlled, that caregivers will be protected, that the economy will be strengthened, and life can return to normalcy.
I was so inspired yesterday when I saw posts with people of many faiths joining this fast. There were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, former members, Catholics, Methodists, Hindus, Agnostics, Wiccans, Buddhists, Lutherans, Scientologists, Presbyterians, Pagans, non-denominational Christians, Muslims, Jews, Christians, Baptists, Born Again Christians, Pentecostals, members of the Community of Christ, worshipers of the Egyptian Gods, Sikhs, Zen Buddhists, Messianic Jews, Spiritual yet not Religious persons, and probably others I haven't seen.
It was so wonderful to see this spiritual unity! Please join us in our fast. I believe God will bless us all!
