I placed 24 gifts under the tree on December 1st. The kids took turns opening a gift each day, which was a book (or 2 or 3 or 4 books) about Christmas. On day 1, they opened The Christmas Pig by JK Rowling. We read a chapter each day until we finished the book, along with the other picture books each day.
On Christmas Day, we were treated to even more lovely books to add to our collection!
