We got to participate in a few different farewell gatherings before we left Ottawa.
The Martin family hosted a lovely dinner for us, the Camerons, and the Wildes.
The Clark family hosted another lovely dinner for us, the Albers, Ayottes, Belangers, Collingridges, Gagnons, Lybberts, Martins, Meissners, Montminys, Plamondons, St. Germains, Stiles, Wildes, Williams, and Zingas.
Kaleb and Noé planned a party with their school friends at Pizza Pizza, but unfortunately they couldn't go! Our day didn't go as planned with getting our passports and visas so they didn't have transportation to their own party, so sad. Luckily, they're still keeping in touch via the internet.
The Yamadas made us dinner and the Montminys had us over for dinner.
These photos are from our Canada Day celebration at the Lybbert's farm with the Stiles, Meissners, Wildes, Fortins, Jones, Legers, Mazzeis, Rawaibulas, Williams, and Yulls.
We ate lots of food, roasted marshmallows, swam, rode the zipline, and went out to water the horses. We were going to shoot off fireworks, but another big rainfall deterred our plans. Even though we got rained on we still had so much fun!
