Last Day of School

The last day of June, was Gavin and Teague's last day of school!

Since Kaleb and Noé had their 8th grade grad the day before, they were told to stay home on the last day.  Can you tell that Noé just cried the whole day?  The poor girl wanted to be in school and have one more day with her friends so bad!

Soon Hiram will join the ranks of the school kids and little Ali will be my only one at home (not sure where her clothes went, ha!).

We celebrated the last day of school with our traditional ice cream sundae dinner...

...however, the kids didn't open their year-end gifts until the next morning.  I was a little unorganized with preparing for our big move and all.

This year their gifts were kind of lame- just some DVDs.  I didn't really have time to shop for fun new swimsuits, and pajamas, and I wanted something light to take with us in our suitcases (thinking we'd have the opportunity to watch them in our transition of homes).  They got The Hunger Games series, Mirror Mirror, the Anne of Green Gables series, the Despicable Me trilogy, The Sound of Music, The Night at the Museum series, the latest installment of the Alvin and the Chipmunks series, Gremlins, The Peanuts, The Good Dinosaur, and Zootopia.  So far we've only watched 3 of these.  We weren't able to watch them while we were staying at the Clark's or in England, and our Friday nights "movie night" has taken a slow start here in India.
