Back home when we visit a house on the lake we call it a cabin. Out here it's called a cottage. It doesn't matter if you call it a cabin or a cottage though, it means the same thing- A DAY OF FUN!
The lovely Lac Champeau in Quebec. Our phonics teacher invited the class out to her family's cottage to spend the day. She also invited the students' older siblings. I let Kaleb and Noe play hookie from school and we had an awesome day enjoying nature.
The kids got to go out on the row boat. Kaleb's in this first crew.
Noe and Emma decided to take the dingy out, but they just kept going in circles.
Mary took another group out in the canoe, so the girls hitched a ride.
There they go around the lake.
They came back with this really cool flower they found floating in the water.
Later in the afternoon they went out in the rowboat again. This time Gavin and Noe were a part of the crew.
