I taught a lesson to all of our primary kids about David and Goliath. Leonard kindly drew a 9 foot tall Goliath for me to use.
The lesson went really well. We talked about David being called of God and anointed by Samuel to be King, and how we are also called of God to help build his kingdom; how to be a good friend like David and Jonathan; and how with God all things are possible, like how David slew Goliath. I had the kids take a foam ball and throw it at Goliath saying what giant or challenge in their lives they can slay with God's help. I think all 21 kids learned something good!
