Hip Hip Hooray...

...Leonard bought our first house today!!!


This was the first house we were seriously considering. After viewing it the first day, the realtor called to set the appointment to see it again the next. That's when the owner disclosed that the previous owners used this house to grow marijuana in it. No thanks! Next please.


This house was viewed the first day and was loved, but it was above our budget. We could afford it, but it would be a stretch. They saw it again the second day and kept it in the lead to compare all of the new homes they saw that day.


Then this gem came along! It's priced in between the other 2 homes, so we felt good about that, and we just love it!!! The front yard needs the grass thickened up a bit, the backyard has a nice deck, but it may be too big and we may decide to remove it for a swing set. The inside is perfect! It's immaculately clean, has everything we want, and is all done in neutral colors so it's ready for us to move in and paint up with our personality. I can't wait! And it was built in 1997 ( a good omen.) Now I have so much to do: I gotta buy the boys' bedding, start shopping for furniture, plan our summer vacation, finish things on our Taiwan "bucket" list, and get ready to move. We've waited a long time to own our first home, it was well worth the wait!! You can see more pictures of it here.
