The Emperor of Japan will be turning 83 on December 23rd, but the Japanese Consulate here decided to throw him an early birthday party.
I asked Noé to snap a picture of us and she caught this action shot of us getting ready. Cheeky girl!

I'm always a little nervous going to these events and talking to people I don't know, but it's good for me to get out. Plus, the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel makes some dang good food and some of the yummiest desserts, ha ha!
