The Elementary School celebrated Kindness Day and asked all the students to wear orange. Oh how I love my smiling musketeers!
Hiram's teacher sent us this darling group shot with these words:
"Today we celebrated Kindness Day. We dressed in orange, the color of kindness. We went to the playground and signed our names on the kindness chart. We spoke about how we can be kind to each other and some of our responses were:
Help People.
When people get hurt you ask them 'Are you OK?'
By giving them snacks and water bottles and lunch boxes.
We can be best friends and that is being kind.
Playing with them in the playground.
By helping them pack their bags.
If you see a sad face you ask them if something is wrong and so that is being kind.
We can be kind by asking others to play with us.
When somebody gives us a Pom Pom when we don't have any, that is being kind."
He's in a split-class made up of pre-kindergarten 3s and pre-kindergarten 4s. What kind little babes!
