Dear Santa,

After the last day of school for 2014 we took the kids to the mall to visit the man in red.  Here is my letter to him:

 

Dear Santa,

Please slow down these days while our kids are little and all live under our roof.  Please give me more patience and kindness to deal with their immaturities.  Please give me more energy to show my love to them by teaching, encouraging, and inspiring them to be their best each day.  Then someday in the far future, please bless us with lots of grandchildren that live on the same street as us!

I love my Savior Jesus Christ and am so grateful to celebrate His birth each year.  But I believe Santa has a place in the celebrating too, and I really like how this poem captures that.
