Blue Sea Banquets

Leonard and I got dressed up again.  This time we went to the school's Board of Trustees dinner.  It was a nice evening getting to mingle with the teachers, staff, and trustees all while eating yummy food.

The event took place at Blue Sea Banquets which is near the south entrance of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link pictured above.  Which is also in our neighborhood.

It also happened to be the birthday celebration of Krishna.  We saw many teams getting ready to build a human pyramid to reach the pot of curd hung from above.

We weren't able to watch any teams complete a pyramid, but we saw lots of pictures in the news and on TV. This has become controversial as it is a long-held tradition, yet many people (mostly children) fall and are severely hurt or even killed while attempting this.  It's too bad we can't do adventurous things and always stay safe.
