As a kindergartner, Ali qualifies for the school bus. However, her brothers had to wait over a month to see if they'd get "empty seats" on the bus. We would walk them to school when the weather was nice, but as you can see by their coats, it gets cold quickly, so then we'd drive them over.
It was a pain to wake Macy up from her nap to take her out into the cold to shuttle the kids to and from school, while the school bus passed our house each morning.
Luckily, with the help of teacher intervention we got empty seats and they could all finally ride the bus, just before the snow came!
