Hiram's #7

Hiram got to celebrate his birthday three times this year!  His birthday fell on a Sunday, so after church we changed into our comfy clothes.  He chose his favorite weekend outfit- his Super Mario Bros shirt, orange shorts, and Lucky Charms socks.

I don't know what this pose means, but he asked me to take his picture like this, ha ha!

For his family celebration, he opened his gifts.

When we went back-to-school shopping he found this seahorse flashlight key chain, and wanted it so So SO badly.  He may have even shed some tears over it.  I told him we weren't shopping for key chains that day, but if it was something he would like for his birthday he could add it to his list of gift ideas.  He kept talking about it for days, so I knew he really wanted it.  He was quite excited to get it.

However, his next gift extracted this huge grin from him...

...Super Mario Galaxy 2 for our Wii!  He also got a Star Wars Clone Wars game.

He also got cards from us, his primary teachers at church, and both sets of grandparents who always spoil us with the means for a shopping trip!

It's time for cake.

Make a wish!

Yes, it will come true!

Love that smile full of cake and ice cream, ha!

We love you Hiram!

On the next day, he took cupcakes to school to share with his classmates and teachers.

On the following Saturday, he had a party with friends.

My days of themed parties are few and far between these days, but they say, "less is more" and Hiram enjoyed the balloons!

As his friends arrived, they worked on some arts and crafts until everyone made it.

This is a fun group!

Hiram wanted to have his daddy teach them how to make homemade pizza, like Teague did.

Cheese!  Always makes pizza taste better!

They were all impressed with their creations.

Cupcake time again!

Happy birthday to you!

Let's eat!

Gift opening time.

Lots of new treasures!

Hiram chose to give his guests these silly pig, dog, and duck noses.

Happy birthday sweet boy!  We hope you have a great year being 7!!
