Teague had a huge homework project to create a diorama all by himself. He chose to do a coastal habitat of the island of Hawaii. He did tons of research then got to work with modeling clay, paper, sand, moss, cotton balls, felt, and string.
I think he did an amazing job!!
Look at that volcano, sky with sun and clouds, lush green foliage, sandy shore, and crystal water.
Now take a closer look at the amazing animals and plants he created.
He had to do a food chain found in his habitat...
...but he did two!
He also had to include an index of all of the elements in his diorama. After he typed it out, he realized he didn't have it alphabetized. It didn't have to be, but he made some notes so when he presented in class they would all be alphabetized (yes, he is my son!).

On the day of his presentation he was really upset. He was only given 3 minutes to share and he didn't have enough time to talk about all of his elements.
However, when he got his rubric back he discovered he earned 100% of his project!!!
