The last day of in-person school was March 13th. However, the last day of online school wasn't until June 26th. When June 27th arrived, we were all so excited to have a couple of months of freedom from school work responsibilities. I didn't give the kids the usual end of school gifts, because they were in limbo for over 3 months. However, they did get a big stack of DVDs to add to our collection as well as a new summer puzzle.
I loved school when I was a student- from my first day in kindergarten until I graduated from BYU. I want my children to love their school experiences too. However, as a mama I live for summer (not just for the gorgeous weather) as I finally get to be the boss of my kiddos' schedule and we get to play!
