11

Every year I feel like my Santa Baby gets jipped for having his birthday in December.  This year I felt exceptionally bad as we spent the morning of his birthday at church, then the evening of his birthday moving into our home.  That only left the afternoon for cake.  Luckily, Gavin is a very good sport!  And the Friday before his birthday he brought in sugar cookies to his school class to share while they watched The Jungle Book.

Chocolate Costco cake is just as yummy as their vanilla.  However, the filling in Canada doesn't even compare to the 2 pounds of cheesecake mousse that they use in the States!

 Make a wish.

 Blow out the candles.

Hooray!  I hope all your wishes come true sweet boy!

The second part of his birthday consisted of opening his birthday cards.  He didn't want gifts this year, he wanted money to buy whatever tickled his fancy.  So we set off to Toys 'R Us to do just that.

After having a slew of Star Wars Light Sabers, and Lego Ninjago weapons, this boy wanted to get some Power Rangers weapons.  Yes, he wants to be a Ninja!

We also took him to see Star Wars The Last Jedi with lots of popcorn!

Happy Birthday Gavin!  We love you so much and next year we will have a proper party for you!
