The little boys' school had a cool birthday/library incentive. Parents could buy a book for the school library that would be donated in their child's name. The students got to choose which book they wanted added to the library shelves, then when the books arrived they got to be the first to check them out and could keep them for as long as they liked before returning them to the library.
Gavin chose Venus Super Hot.
Teague chose Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes.
Hiram chose The Not Very Merry Pout-Pout Fish.
It's so cool that their names will live on in the school library for years to come!
I think this is a great way to celebrate your birthday in Elementary School!
