I despise that the school year starts the day after Labor Day. What do you do for Labor Day- treat it like the last day of summer? Or like the day before school starts? We opted to treat it like the last day of summer, but it did make for a little more stressful of a first day of school. During the summer Petrie Island can pack in the crowds.
On Labor Day it was pretty quiet though.
If my 5 kids can be quiet that is!

We actually had 11 adults and 22 kids here with us, but I was enjoying visiting instead of snapping pictures. Goodbye summer!
