Christmas Eve

The sun was setting on our fun day, but we still had some things to do!  Our first stop was to see the lights on Taffy Lane.  (Note to self, get pics from Len of Magic of Lights.)  Some call it Tacky Lane, but we crank the Christmas music up and call it fun as we drive through the beautiful street all lit up with festivity!

When we arrived home we discovered that the Christmas Eve Elf had come again, bringing us all new pj's.  We all changed into them, then settled in to watch The King is Born and 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Time for the annual sibling slumber party!  It never takes long to get the kids to go to bed on Christmas Eve.  They know they have to be asleep for Santa to come.  This year they didn't even bother to wait for us to help them get air mattresses or sleeping bags, they each grabbed their pillows, blankets, and a spot on the floor, except for the lucky Kaleb and Gavin who each scored a couch.  The benefits of being tall.

I can't wait for Macy to join the slumber party fun, but she had her own slumber party with Anna Rose.  I wonder if visions of sugar plums danced through their heads while they waited for Christmas morning to arrive!
