When I was a little girl I used to ask my parents to take me to church. After having church at home via Zoom for 6 months, we were able to attend in-person church once again.
Of course, we had to wear masks, sanitize our hands upon entering the building, and sit 6 feet away from any other members there, but it was so nice to gather with fellow believers to worship God and Jesus Christ.
Macy is the cutest mask wearer, for sure, but she didn't keep it on for long.
We were able to attend two more times in November, before the rules changed again so we'll keep having church at home each week until this pandemic is through.
That night, we finally celebrated our back-to-school feast with Peri Peri chicken, special mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and this honey roasted peanut butter brownie cake, yum! We also went outside and lit sparklers and wore glow necklaces. Here's to another school year!
