Back in June, when Kaleb and Noé's high school graduation was cancelled, it was actually postponed. We all thought the world would be back to normal and we'd be able to have a normal graduation ceremony in October. We were actually bummed, because we thought Kaleb would be in Pennsylvania and Noé in Hawaii, and they would miss it. Of course, this didn't happen, but the school put together a program for each graduate to enjoy individually (or with their twin, there's a few sets at the school!).
The four of us showed up at our allotted time, and Kaleb and Noé were given new caps and gowns to put on with their honor cords and sashes as well.
They each got to cross the stage with their name being presented with any awards they achieved.
It literally took less than 10 minutes for both of them. We then exited the gym, returned the sashes, and received all of their prizes.
Their diplomas.
Their awards-
Kaleb received the Woodwind Ensemble award and Noé received the Cheer award as well as the Award of Merit (with a scholarship).
They also got their yearbooks.
And darling sugar cookies!
I'm so grateful I saw this "program" on a friend's facebook page and was able to share it with our school council. They did a great job making this day memorable!
Kaleb and Noé said the cookies were great and we watched a grad video at home with all of the class of 2020. Go Knights!
